Jillian Noel Hennely was born on 25 November, 1968. She is a renowned Canadian actor and singer who has made an important contribution to American TV. She is renowned for her impressive performances on the American TV series Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy has also showcased her acting skills in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she created and directed these movies. Her acting career started in 1988 when she along with her sister acted as twin characters in Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story at Broadway in the year 1990. It was 1993 when Hennessy made her way out of musicals and into the science-fiction genre, playing the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. The big break for her occurred later that year when she joined the ensemble of the acclaimed NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As part of the show she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three years until 1996. For these, she received an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. Parker received the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress at the Broadway show Proof.
